2007....

OH MAN!!!!! I can't believe it's already 2007.... time flies by faster and faster.... it doesn't slow down as we get older... if anything... it get faster and faster....

I hope that this 2007... that EVERYONE gets SOOO blessed!!!!~~~~

CHRISTmas

ok... so this past weekend, I braved the crowds and went to go shopping for some presents. I must say... I didn't even want to go out and go shopping... AT ALL... and then I started thinking about it. what's the REAL reason for all this maddness? It's not so that we can get you can get what you want, it's not so that we can get stressed about what to give one another, it's because of JESUS. We celebrate CHRISTmas because Jesus was born. The reason why we're CHRISTians. I hate how so many people are caught up in the hurry and flurry of CHRISTmas that we don't just sit down and really reflect on WHY we celebrate CHRISTmas.

I want to encourage ALL of us to really think about WHY we have this Season. We have this season because Jesus was born. Not only was Jesus born, He was born in a manger. The trinity we worship was born in a feeding container for animals. Even the Highest of High, the Prince of Peace, was born in a manger. We really need to think about what this season is about. CHRISTmas. HE is the Reason for this Season.

wow.... it's crazy how fast time flies. I thought that my semester off would go slowly.... but I was proven wrong... it's already end of october and the beginning of november... craziness....

anyways... to recap some of the things that have gone on since my WHITE party....

I went to Ohio.... for a meeting... interesting.... but yeah....(no pics for that....)

I went to the JAMES BLUNT CONCERT!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok... so the pic quality sucks... but it was still AMAZING!!!!!! I'm obsessed ALL OVER again....

next... my dad's cousin got married and I met some extended family for the first time.....

That's the beautiful bride!!~~

james and I.... my dad's cousin's kid... so is that second cousins or third cousins???

and my beautiful cousin woosim and I... (she's james' sister)... again.... second or third cousins??

either way.... getting to know extended family was a good time... had A LOT of food throughout their visit...went shopping A LOT.... I've never shopped that much in my life....all around an AWSOME time!!~~

I need some LOVIN'~~~~~

so.... my WHITE party was this past weekend... and I must say... it was an AMAZING time!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE that came!!!!

I also must add... I'm blessed to have such awesome friends.... when people asked me what I wanted for my birthday... I was like I don't know.... you can figure it out..... so I wasn't really expecting EXTRAVAGANT gifts.... my oh my... was I blown away..... here is a list of stuff I got:

1. Handmade frame- HOURS in the making

2. NIV Thinline Bible- my spirituality is also VERY important

3.Lottery Tickets- I gained money... I wouldn't have if it weren't for the tickets....

4. Digital Camera- this was the MOST surprising of the evening.... I really didn't expect this...in addition to the camera... there was also a memory card as well.... wow...

5. Milkasa Wine glasses- I believe they're crystal... it was a set of four... something I can share with my family AND my future family..... my family is VERY important to me....

6. Armani Watch- ok.... ARMANI..... what the heck?! it's ARMANI..... enough said.... OH YEAH... and it was ORANGE!!!!

7. A friend that drove from Atlanta.... now... I don't know if he REALLY drove up JUST for my party... but that's what he claims.... so I have to believe him.... I was SOOOOOO shocked that he was there..... AND he brought a rose for me....

8. White roses.... these were BEAUTIFUL.... they're in a vase right now and it's SOOOOO pretty.... I'm gonna dry them so I can cherish them.....

9. Douglas J pedicure..... first... I LOVE Douglas J.... second I NEED a pedicure.... and a girl ALWAYS needs a little pampering....

10. Watermark CD.... again... my spirituality is important to me AND so is music.... good combo.

what more could a girl ask for??? an awesome evening with awesome friends, awesome food, awesome gifts... again....

GUESS WHAT FOLKS???  PARTAAAYYY TIMEEEEE...haha~

FOR WHAT?  REBEKAH'S 23rd BIRTHDAYYY^^

WHEN?  SEPT. 16 (SAT)

WHERE?  REBEKAH'S HOUSE (aka mansion..lol)

WHY?  uhh...because it's her birthday?!..and therefore we must celebrate!!!

TIME?  come start rollin' in at 5PM...until Rebekah says "get out"....haha~

So if you haven't noticed the 16th is like right around the corner...SO if you want to come you MUST RSVP BY Sept. 13th (Wednesday)!!!  how? just leave a comment here or call Rebekah...okie??? ok.

and there is one REQUIREMENT...this party will be a WHITE party...which means...everything...and i mean EVERYYTHINGGGG must be in the color white (including your outfits..&& gifts should be wrapped in white..haha....well that's a bit extreme yes...but you get the point).

Food, drinks, and actvities will be provided...so come and share the fun...and let's celebrate becka's precious day ^^

oh and one more thing...the 16th is not her real bday...so make sure to say HaPPy BiRtHdAy to her on September 11th....which is her real bday... ^^ so remember it, mark it, write it, do whatever to remember it ^^
